"We can't activate Windows on this device"
This usually means the key has already been used on another PC, or there's a temporary connection issue with Microsoft's activation servers. Open Settings → System → Activation → Troubleshoot and follow the prompts, or re-enter your key from Change product key.
Key not accepted during setup
Double-check you're entering all 25 characters correctly — it's easy to mistake 0 (zero) for O, or 1 for I. If Setup still rejects it, skip the key screen and activate after installation from Settings instead.
Installation gets stuck or fails
Verify your PC meets the minimum system requirements for the Windows version you're installing, and make sure your installation media (USB or ISO) was created using Microsoft's official Media Creation Tool.
