Windows System Requirements

Windows 11 minimum requirements

• 1 GHz or faster processor with 2 or more cores, on Microsoft's supported CPU list

• 4 GB RAM minimum

• 64 GB or larger storage device

• UEFI, Secure Boot capable firmware

• TPM version 2.0

• DirectX 12 compatible graphics with a WDDM 2.0 driver

• A display larger than 9" with HD (720p) resolution

Windows 10 minimum requirements

• 1 GHz or faster processor

• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

• 16 GB storage (32-bit) or 32 GB storage (64-bit)

• DirectX 9 or later with a WDDM 1.0 driver

Windows 10 has no TPM or Secure Boot requirement, which is why it remains a solid option for older hardware that can't meet Windows 11's baseline.
